The Role: Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will have the opportunity to play a key role in ensuring financial and operational excellence prevails across all aspects of our business.

You will work on improving MI insights available to Management while maintaining a high level of commitment, professional work ethic and being ambitious.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Accounts Payable function which involves posting invoices to accounting software, reconciling trade creditors, making payments and monitoring invoices to ensure proper cost control.
  • Manage weekly reconciliations of our Group bank accounts and report on cash balances.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly Group Management Accounts and month end processes involving posting journals and completing balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Assist in the annual statutory audit process.
  • Produce and update Portfolio Datatapes for potential funders and investors and be responsible for ensuring accurate minutes and actions are recorded and actioned.
  • Play a key role in ongoing production, enhancement and delivery of Management Information to our business.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • A third level business degree and 2-3 years' experience working in a finance environment.
  • Maintenance of strong time management skills, flexibility, prioritising their work, meeting deadlines and ensuring queries resolved in a timely manner.
  • Numeracy with razor-sharp attention to detail, excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication and presentational skills.
