The Role:

We are searching for a dynamic, proactive, high-energy person to join our growing team.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to play a key role in ensuring that financial and operational excellence prevails across all aspects of the business while working on improving MI insights available to Management.

The position is based at the company's head office with 4 days (Monday to Thursday) in the office and remote working on Fridays.

Key Responsibilities include Accounts Payable - Managing the Accounts Payable function which involves posting invoices to the Group financial accounting package, reconciling trade creditors, making payments and monitoring invoices to ensure proper cost control, Account Reconciliations - Manage the weekly reconciliations of the Group bank accounts and report on cash balances, Month End – assisting in the preparation of the monthly Group Management Accounts and involved in the month end processes which will involve posting journals and completing balance sheet reconciliations, Audit – Assist in the annual statutory audit process, Funding – responsible for the production and updating of Portfolio Datatapes for potential funders and investors, Management Information – playing a key role in ongoing production, enhancement and delivery of Management Information to the business, and Ad-hoc projects as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Third level business degree
  • 2 to 3 years' experience working in a Finance environment
  • MI and data analysis experience advantageous but not essential
  • Already started professional accounting exams or have an interest in doing so
