Senior Programme Leader

This is a leadership role that requires strong project management expertise, financial and commercial acumen, and experience in budget accountability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and lead the programme function, aligning with organisational goals and implementing scalable project delivery frameworks.
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of programmes, ensuring robust planning, risk management, and resource allocation.
  • Develop and manage long-term programmes, monitoring expenditures, and maintaining integrated resource plans.
  • Act as the point of contact with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and governance.
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing programme team, fostering a culture of accountability, performance excellence, and continuous improvement.
  • Define and manage KPIs for programme delivery and provide regular reports to senior executives and governance bodies.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related discipline and professional certification (e.g., PMP, MSP, PRINCE2). They will also possess strong strategic thinking, business acumen, leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. A minimum of 10 years of experience in programme management within the energy or infrastructure sectors, with proven leadership and experience, is required.
