Job Overview

The Clinical Coding Team Leader is responsible for managing and coordinating the HIPE department to ensure accurate and timely capture of clinical data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate the HIPE department
  • Validate daily downloads
  • Develop Activity Based Funding reports
  • Manage and support departmental staff
Requirements:
  • Professional qualification in clinical coding
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in clinical coding, including hospital setting experience
  • Expert knowledge of Irish and Australian coding standards
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel

  • Strong results focus and ability to achieve results through collaborative working
  • Self-motivation and innovative approach
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time-management skills
