Based at our office in Stockport, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. With over 30 years of successful projects in the UK and Ireland, we are a leading technical consultancy that facilitates the investment and delivery of energy infrastructure projects.

We support some of the most innovative energy projects across the UK and Ireland, providing design, intellectual, and engineering services to developers, investors, and owner-operators. As the business grows, we need someone with significant knowledge of industrial electrical infrastructure, including design and commissioning, coupled with experience in HV, MV, and LV systems, embedded generation, protection circuits, grid connections, switchgear, substations, and coordinating with UK DNOs.

The ideal candidate will have a good degree in Electrical Engineering, excellent understanding of health, safety, and welfare within engineering, and experience with software like Dig SILENT. They must also be able to assess manufactured or fabricated items for faults and provide site-based construction monitoring. Responsibilities
  1. Dealing effectively and professionally with clients, attending meetings, writing high-quality technical reports, and delivering presentations.
  2. Undertaking feasibility studies, power system studies, and design reviews.
  3. Witnessing site and factory acceptance testing.
  4. Working as part of a wider engineering team and operating autonomously as required.
