**Land Acquisition Specialist**
- We are seeking a highly skilled Land Acquisition Specialist to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the National Transport Authority in building relationships with landowners impacted by transportation projects. This includes residential and commercial landowners who will be directly affected by the schemes.
Main Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for all landowner queries, providing timely and accurate information to address concerns and facilitate smooth project delivery.
- Negotiate and conclude property-based agreements, leveraging expertise in land and property acquisition processes and compulsory purchase law to achieve favorable outcomes for all stakeholders.
- Oversee all landowner liaison activities, ensuring that all interactions and communications are aligned with the project's objectives and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- 7+ years' experience in stakeholder and communications management, with at least 5 years' experience conducting landowner liaison activities across the project lifecycle through to completion in high-value road and/or infrastructure projects or projects of a similar scale and complexity.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge in land and property acquisition processes, the Irish property market, compulsory purchase law and practice, statutory planning systems, quality management practices, and specialized property valuations and appraisals.
- Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to create a collaborative culture across the project team.
- Ability to govern and drive outcomes to ensure high-quality service delivery, deal with unforeseen risks and issues, and negotiate with a range of stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong team leadership skills, with the ability to influence design decision-making and prioritize effectively, meet deadlines, and deliver consistent service.
