Lead Breakfast Operations

The ideal candidate for this position will be a seasoned professional with exceptional leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate and train staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Management: The successful applicant will oversee the day-to-day management of the hotel's breakfast and lunch services, ensuring seamless execution and adherence to high standards.
  • Team Leadership: This role requires the ability to lead and motivate a team of Food & Beverage Assistants, Supervisors, and Assistant Managers, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Revenue Growth: The candidate will identify opportunities to maximize revenue and implement strategies to drive sales growth.
  • Customer Service: Exceptional customer service is paramount in this role; the selected individual will exceed expectations by providing personalized attention and resolving guest queries promptly and professionally.
  • Complaint Resolution: The successful candidate will effectively manage and resolve guest complaints in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Quality Control: Maintaining high standards of quality and hygiene is crucial; the chosen individual will work closely with the Chef to ensure optimal food quality and adhering to HACCP controls.
  • Financial Management: Accurate handling of cash, vouchers, and all forms of payment is essential; the successful candidate will maintain a secure and responsible financial environment.
  • Roster Management: Effective roster management is critical to maintaining an efficient operation; the chosen individual will optimize staffing levels to meet business demands.
  • Performance Management: Regular performance reviews and coaching will be conducted to ensure staff are meeting performance expectations and to provide constructive feedback and guidance.
  • Recruitment and Selection: The selected individual will participate in the recruitment and selection process for new staff members, ensuring that only the most suitable candidates are appointed.
Requirements:
  • Leadership Experience: Minimum 1 year experience at Manager level in a similar environment is required.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication, organization, and people management skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Training Ability: The ability to train new and existing staff is vital to the success of the hotel.
  • Food and Beverage Knowledge: A strong understanding of Food and Beverage operations and a keen eye for detail are necessary to excel in this position.
  • Adaptability: The ability to perform under pressure and remain adaptable in a fast-paced environment is crucial.
  • Availability: Availability to work 5 out of 7 days is required.
