Job Overview

We are seeking a visionary leader to spearhead our enterprise-wide cryptographic strategy.

This role requires expertise in managing large-scale cryptographic programs, ensuring alignment with regulatory frameworks, and overseeing the implementation of secure cryptographic controls.

About the Position:
  • The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of cryptographic technologies, including PKI, TLS, HSMs, and certificate/key lifecycle management.
  • Strong leadership skills are essential for managing cross-functional teams and influencing without direct authority.
  • The successful candidate will have experience with cloud-native cryptographic services and a proven track record of delivering high-quality results under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement an enterprise-wide cryptographic strategy that aligns with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  2. Lead the development and maintenance of cryptographic standards, policies, and procedures.
  3. Collaborate with Information Security Officers (ISOs), infrastructure teams, and application owners to ensure secure implementation of cryptographic controls.
  4. Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) for cryptographic operations.
  5. Provide training and awareness programs for teams handling cryptographic materials.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information protection, with a focus on cryptography, specifically key and certificate management programs.
  • 10+ years of experience in leadership roles, including people and program management.
  • 8+ years of experience with key and certificate management tools and platforms.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CCSP, GIAC GCLD, or equivalent) are preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with cloud-native cryptographic services (e.g., AWS KMS, Azure Key Vault).
  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, PCI DSS) and their cryptographic requirements.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority.
