About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Manager to join our team on a 15-month fixed-term contract.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of financial information, overseeing the month-end close, and managing the preparation of monthly management accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining accurate and compliant financial records in accordance with relevant legislation and internal policies.
  • Coordinating and supervising the month-end close process to ensure timely completion.
  • Leading the preparation of monthly management accounts, including financial analysis and reporting.
  • Developing and implementing efficient processes to drive business performance and meet changing needs.
  • Collaborating with senior stakeholders to discuss financial performance and identify key issues.
  • Partnering with department heads to review costs against budget and implement cost-saving initiatives.
  • Overseeing the completion of year-end accounts, audit recommendations, and ongoing compliance.
  • Reviewing and approving financial statements in accordance with recognised accounting standards.
  • Managing and developing a team of four in the Financial Reporting function.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • ACA or ACCA qualification with 8+ years' post-qualification experience and a minimum of 4 years' experience in a management role.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand and resolve complex finance issues.
