Financial Reporting Specialist

This is a key position within our financial reporting team, responsible for preparing and reviewing financial statements for investment funds and financial services entities.

  • We are looking for an experienced accountant to manage end-to-end financial reporting for multinational clients, liaising with auditors, administrators, and investment managers.
  • The successful candidate will take full ownership of deliverables, ensuring accuracy, high-quality output, and timely completion under tight deadlines.
  • They will support senior management and partners with ad hoc financial reporting and regulatory advisory projects.
  • A strong technical knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP is required, along with sound judgment and a practical, commercial approach.
  • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of producing and reviewing high-quality financial statements with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is necessary to support analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and time management skills are essential, with the ability to balance multiple priorities under pressure.
  • A proactive team player who enjoys mentoring, takes initiative, and thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment is required.
Requirements:

  • Recently or fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent).
  • Experience in financial reporting and/or audit within investment funds; prior experience in a leading professional services firm is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex accounting issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to stakeholders.
  • Legal entitlement to work in Ireland.
