We are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join our finance team on a 6-month fixed term contract. This role offers an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to gain experience in accounts payable, receivable and general ledger management.
As an Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts, processing accounts payable and receivable, preparing VAT and RCT returns, assisting with payroll processing and related queries, supporting month-end and year-end close procedures, and preparing financial reports and budgeting forecasts.
Requirements:- You should hold an Accounting Technician qualification (ATI) or equivalent, and have at least 2 years' experience in a finance or accounting role.
- You must be proficient in accounting software and Excel, and possess strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Knowledge of Irish tax regulations and financial governance is essential.
The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and demonstrate a high level of professionalism and integrity in all aspects of their work.
