Abrivia is currently recruiting for a Motor Injury Claims Handler to join their team in Dublin. This role involves the proactive management of a portfolio of bodily injury and liability claims from notification through to settlement.

The successful candidate will work in a hybrid model, with two days per week in the office. They will be responsible for assessing policy cover, evaluating liability, and conducting negotiations with claimants, solicitors, and other stakeholders.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of motor injury claims from initial notification to settlement, ensuring all claims are handled in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Assess policy cover and evaluate liability through investigation and analysis, conducting negotiations with claimants, solicitors, and other stakeholders as needed.
  • Monitor financial exposure on claims and maintain appropriate reserves, handling litigation files and attending court hearings and settlement discussions as required.
  • Identify and escalate potential fraudulent claims to the Special Investigations Unit (SIU).

Requirements:

  • CIP qualification or equivalent
  • Proven experience managing motor injury claims
  • Strong negotiation and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Good understanding of claims handling regulations and processes
