Job Summary

The Technology Operations Engineer is responsible for monitoring customer-facing environments and escalating incidents to management.

This role involves learning escalation protocols, reporting incidents, and maintaining communication tools.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Learns protocol per application area and maintains knowledge on escalation procedures.
  • Assists in creating documentation using ECC protocol.
  • Develops phone etiquette skills for receiving calls and escalations.
  • Maintains bridge line operations.
  • Learned to use Mind Align and other inter-office communication tools effectively.
  • Documents timeline of events within crisis management.
  • Understands specific application flows and general functionality by application.
  • Familiar with application log locations and early error detection.
  • Efficiently uses broad notification tool.
  • Uses department website for process recovery.
  • Knowledgeable about application recovery tools used by TOCC.
  • Familiar with scripts to execute for application recovery.
  • Escalates and notifies per application under direction of Manager TOCC.
  • Performs basic incident management tasks.
  • Recycles monitoring agents.

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field. Recent graduates or those with some experience in IT Corporate Infrastructure Support are preferred.
