Manufacturing Process Specialist

The Manufacturing Process Specialist plays a vital role in enhancing existing manufacturing processes to guarantee consistent production of high-quality medical devices.
Key Responsibilities:- Troubleshoot Production Issues: Provide day-to-day technical support to resolve production challenges, minimize downtime, and ensure stable operations.
- Analyze Root Causes: Analyze the root causes of production issues and implement corrective actions to address defects or inefficiencies.
- Improve Efficiency: Identify and implement opportunities to improve yields, reduce waste, and enhance overall production efficiency using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other methodologies.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple ongoing projects.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
- Catheter assembly experience, including braided/coiled shaft assembly and reflow, tip bonding, and handle assembly.
- Jigs & Fixtures design and maintenance experience.
- Practical understanding of lean manufacturing principles and statistics.
- Equipment and Process Validation experience with working knowledge of Minitab software.
