Electrical Site Engineer Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Site Engineer to join our team. This is a critical role that involves overseeing the identification, diversion, installation and integration of electrical systems within construction projects.

The successful candidate will have strong technical expertise in electrical engineering principles, systems and safety regulations. They will also possess excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage timelines, budgets and resources effectively.

As an Electrical Site Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that electrical systems are properly integrated, installed and functioning within the overall construction framework. You will work closely with civil engineers, contractors and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, systems and safety regulations. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to problem-solve and think critically.

Responsibilities include:

  • Checking and verifying design and implementing into electrical systems
  • Liaison and overall responsibility for any disconnections and outages
  • Supervising during construction, managing electrical contractors and ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets and quality standards
  • Ensuring safety compliance by implementing and enforcing ROI safety regulations related to electrical work on site
  • Problem-solving, addressing and resolving any electrical issues or challenges that arise during the construction process
  • Quality assurance, conducting compliance inspections and documentation checks to ensure electrical systems meet project requirements
  • Liaising with stakeholders, collaborating with other engineers, clients, utility DNO and project managers to ensure smooth project execution

This is a permanent full-time position based wholly within the Republic of Ireland.
