Electrical QAQC Supervisor

As an Electrical QAQC Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of quality assurance and control professionals in ensuring the highest standards of electrical systems installation and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive handover inspection and test documents, as well as operation and maintenance manuals that meet regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate the commissioning of electrical systems among teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of inspection and test documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Review and release final handover packages to clients, ensuring they meet project requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory standards throughout the installation and inspection phases of the project.
  • Conduct quality inspections on installations and manage the resolution of defects in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Oversee the accurate execution of testing procedures on the project, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with the construction management team and clients to address installation and quality-related matters.
  • Actively participate in quality meetings and contribute input to weekly progress reports, focusing on quality-related items.
  • Supervise and manage the workflow of other members of the onsite QAQC team, providing guidance and support as needed.

Requirements:

  • An honours degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant Electrical Trade qualification is essential.
  • 5+ years experience in a QAQC role is required, with a strong understanding of installation and commissioning principles.
  • Excellent attention to detail and knowledge of regulatory standards are mandatory.
  • Experience working on Data Centre projects would be an advantage, but not essential.
  • Good IT skills, particularly in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Packages, are necessary for success in this role.
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines and priorities is crucial.
