Job Title: Engineering Planner
The successful candidate will work as part of a dynamic team, developing current skills and learning new technology within a large-scale environment with cutting-edge solutions.
Main Responsibilities:
- Prioritise safety in work planning – identify risks associated with any tasks and implement mitigations as required.
- Develop daily, weekly, monthly Maintenance/Calibration plans & scheduling/Assignment of all GMP maintenance activities through CMMS systems.
- Schedule and assign activities to tie in with overall Manufacturing schedule and priorities, with a focus on quality and efficiency.
- Collaborate with the wider Reliability team, including Technicians and Engineers to develop current planning strategies for optimum use of downtime windows and resources.
- Create reporting tools through CMMS and other analytical software to demonstrate planning performance (planned vs actual, schedule adherence etc).
- Develop and publish Team metrics/KPI's using data analysis reports and monthly management reports to demonstrate team performance and continuous improvements.
- Ensure all vendor SLAs are in place and up to date.
- Coordinate with other functional groups to ensure resources are available for activities. Attend site planning meetings for alignment of schedule with cross-functional groups and report back as required.
- Assess incoming Work Orders prioritise work accordingly.
- Follow up on completed work to ensure work orders are closed.
- Verify correct permits are in place for activities and external contractors.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A minimum of a Level 7 Engineering Related qualification is required. A Level 8 qualification is desirable.
- Extensive experience in similar industry with some exposure to maintenance / engineering planning and LOTO is necessary.
- CMMS experience in Maximo, SAP or similar is essential.
- Strong communication, organisational and analytical skills, use of Spotfire is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of standard software applications, MS Excel, Sharepoint is required. Ability to work independently and also as part of a team.
- Flexibility and ability to work independently and remotely when required.
