The role of the Claims Support is to provide effective cover and assistance to the Team Leader and to assist claim handlers in ensuring that all SLAs are met for both clients and policyholders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • First contact calls for new claim notifications
  • Assist claim handlers to ensure that all SLAs are met for both clients and policyholders
  • Action client and policyholder correspondence in a timely manner
  • Assist Team Leader in adhoc projects requested from clients

A strong working knowledge of policy terms and conditions is essential for this role.

Qualifications/skills required:

  • Excellent customer service experience and skills
  • High level of proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • High level interpersonal and communication (verbal/written) skills
  • Effective time management
  • Strong organizational and accuracy skills with attention to detail
