Structural Design Expertise

Our prominent engineering firm is seeking an experienced Structural Design Engineer to work on diverse projects across Ireland and the UK.

The ideal candidate will be a practical, driven individual with excellent technical knowledge and strong communication skills. They must be comfortable working both individually and as part of a team, and be able to produce high-quality design risk assessments, reports, and drawings in accordance with company procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement structural designs for civil and building projects using Eurocode principles and software such as AutoCAD and Autodesk Robot.
  • Conduct manual and software-based design calculations, and create detailed project documentation.
  • Collaborate effectively with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure successful project outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Hold a minimum Level 8 qualification in Engineering or equivalent.
  • Have strong technical knowledge and self-motivation.
  • Familiarity with Eurocode design of various materials, including steel, concrete, timber, and masonry.
  • Ability to conduct design risk assessments, report documents, and drawings in accordance with company procedures.
  • Experience in the use of design software, such as AutoCAD, Autodesk Robot, or similar.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to organise and maintain project documentation to ISO standard.
  • Full clean driver's licence.
