Site Operations Manager - New opening in Ennis, M18

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Site Operations Manager to lead the operations of our new site located on the M18 near Ennis, Co. Clare.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who can manage diverse retail and food site offerings, plan and organize teams, and drive business growth.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Operations Management:
  • Oversee daily store operations, including Supermac's, Papa John's Pizza, Convenience Shop, and Forecourt.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping, merchandising, presentation, and customer service.
  • Manage cash handling, implement safe procedures, and report discrepancies.
  • Team Management:
  • Recruit, train, and develop high-quality personnel.
  • Plan and organize staff rosters, ensuring adequate cover within budgetary provisions.
  • Performance Management:
  • Monitor and analyze sales, profitability, and department margins.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance performance.
  • Customer Service:
  • Ensure consistently high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Address customer complaints promptly and effectively.

Requirements

  • Candidates must possess excellent operational knowledge of the retail environment.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work in a pressurized environment and meet targets as agreed.
  • Proficient in financial management, including budgets and profit/loss accounts.
  • Familiarity with Labour Law, Health & Safety regulations, HACCP, and Consumer Law.
