We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse to join our team in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with intellectual disabilities.
The successful candidate will work closely with our community services managers to develop, implement, and deliver effective customer-focused support programs that cater to the unique needs and abilities of service users.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
Main Responsibilities- Provide evidence-based nursing care according to national guidelines and professional standards.
- Work within your scope of practice and maintain the necessary competence for professional practice.
- Respect and maintain the privacy, dignity, and confidentiality of service users.
- Promote the health, welfare, and social wellbeing of service users within our services.
- Participate actively as a team member in all aspects of service delivery, including case conferences, clinical meetings, and team meetings.
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- A current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland in the RNID Division.
- At least 1 year's experience supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities (desirable).
- A strong command of the English language (both verbally and written) and eligibility to work in Ireland.
- Proficiency in IT and excellent communication skills.
