Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the design and implementation of a Laboratory/Canteen expansion project in a live Pharmaceutical facility. The successful candidate will have previous relevant experience in providing client-side design input at various stages of the project.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support client-side design team in the design of the Laboratory reconfiguration and Canteen expansion
  • Coordinate client-side design activities with internal resources, site SMEs, and client's engineering technical authority
  • Lead client-side design reviews and coordinate stakeholder participation
  • Coordinate cross-functional package reviews and support site facility and utility walkdowns
  • Act as point of contact for technical queries related to assigned scopes of work
  • Generate project execution schedules and coordinate with site facilities, engineering, and end-users
  • Liaise with commissioning and qualification teams to ensure smooth handover of systems and facilities

Requirements:

  • Degree-level qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or similar/equivalent
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical facility design/build/commission/start-up, including direct responsibility for engineering documentation, project execution, or facility design
  • Previous experience in laboratory renovations/refits in live working environments, including coordination with end-users
  • Ability to challenge, defend, and present technical aspects of design and commissioning

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Previous experience in laboratory retrofits and Canteen expansions
