We are seeking a seasoned label designer to join our team in developing and maintaining product labels. This role is ideal for a creative professional with expertise in designing labels for medical devices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain product labels that meet labeling requirements for medical devices.
- Support multiple concurrent labeling projects for new products, mergers and acquisitions, and label maintenance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and determine label requirements and content.
- Design label formats for functional usability by healthcare staff.
- Use specialized labeling software to generate templates and enter label data, text, and graphics into label database.
- Troubleshoot electronic files as needed.
- Ensure barcodes pass verification testing.
- Select appropriate label materials for labels applied to packages and products in collaboration with packaging engineers.
- Support label translation strategies that satisfy international labeling needs.
- Review labels and IFUs for completeness and presentation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Data Management, Procurement, General Business Management, Regulatory Sciences, or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience in the medical device, pharmaceutical, or other highly regulated industry.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Able to prioritize and work within schedules.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical ability.
- Highly developed computer skills and ability to quickly learn new software.
