Cancer Care Physician

MatchMedics is a leading provider of cancer care services, and we are seeking a Cancer Care Physician to join our medical team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive care to cancer patients, working under the supervision of consultant oncologists, and contributing to the multidisciplinary management of oncology cases.
The key responsibilities of this role include Patient Care, Treatment Administration, Multidisciplinary Collaboration, and Patient Education. The successful candidate will assist in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with various oncological conditions, participate in the administration of chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other oncological treatments, work closely with a multidisciplinary team, and provide patients and their families with information regarding diagnoses, treatment options, potential side effects, and supportive care resources.
The ideal candidate will have strong clinical acumen, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. A minimum of 3 years post-internship experience in Oncology is required, as well as eligibility for registration with the Irish Medical Council (IMC) and a MB BCh BAO or equivalent medical degree.
