Cancer Care Administrator

The Irish Cancer Society is a leading provider of cancer care services in Ireland. We are seeking an experienced Administrator to join our team as a Patient Transport Administrator.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position, 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. The successful candidate will be based at our office in Dublin 4 and will work closely with our Patient Transport Coordinator to ensure the smooth operation of our transport service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collate referral information from partner hospitals and update patient database
- Process patient referrals, bookings, and financial support applications
- Manage incoming and outgoing patient calls and emails
- Provide administrative support to the Driver Support team
- Administer patient feedback surveys and contribute to continuous service improvement
Requirements:
- Degree or professional qualification in social work, community development, or related field
- Minimum 3 years relevant work experience in service delivery or community support
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
