The Irish Cancer Society is a leading provider of cancer care services in Ireland. We are seeking an experienced Administrator to join our team as a Patient Transport Administrator.

About the Role

This is a full-time position, 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. The successful candidate will be based at our office in Dublin 4 and will work closely with our Patient Transport Coordinator to ensure the smooth operation of our transport service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collate referral information from partner hospitals and update patient database
  • Process patient referrals, bookings, and financial support applications
  • Manage incoming and outgoing patient calls and emails
  • Provide administrative support to the Driver Support team
  • Administer patient feedback surveys and contribute to continuous service improvement

Requirements:

  • Degree or professional qualification in social work, community development, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years relevant work experience in service delivery or community support
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
