Medical Transport Administrator

The Irish Cancer Society is a charity dedicated to reducing the impact of cancer on individuals and their families. We provide a range of services, including a free transport service to referred patients, identified as being in need by our hospital partners. As a Medical Transport Administrator, you will play a vital part in our mission to improve the lives of those affected by cancer. Your Key Responsibilities
- Receive and collate referral information from our partner hospitals ensuring patient database is up to date.
- Process patient referrals from our partner hospitals, making contact with the patient and taking booking information.
- Process daily patient bookings and input information on CRM (Dynamics) database
- Manage incoming and outgoing patient calls and emails responding to a large volume of incoming calls from an expanding patient base.
- Address logistic issues as they arise, ensuring proper procedures and quality standards are adhered to.
- Offer support to patients signposting them to other supports where appropriate.
- Provide cover within the Driver Support team if and when required.
Evaluation and Continuous Improvement
- Administer patient feedback surveys when required and collate the findings.
- Ensure continuous service improvement, through patient feedback and signposting to other services and supports.
- Proactively identify opportunities for improvement in our service delivery or operations.
