Job Description
This full-time position involves working on-site at our facility in Birr, Ireland. As a Glasshouse and Polytunnel Constructor, your primary responsibilities will include constructing and installing glasshouses and polytunnels.
Key tasks involve assembling frames, setting out structures, installing glass panels, ensuring structural integrity, performing maintenance and repairs, and collaborating with the manufacturing team to meet project deadlines.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in construction, assembly, or relevant fieldwork
- Skills in carpentry, metalworking, or glass installation
- Ability to read and interpret instructions and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and teamwork skills
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions
- Experience with greenhouse or polytunnel construction is a plus
- A valid driver's license
