Design and Certification Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Design and Certification Engineer to join our team in Dublin, Ireland.

  • This is a key role for an individual who is responsible for developing, integrating, and documenting interior payload system requirements to establish the system design of large aircraft modifications.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical/structural design engineering with experience working within an EASA Part 21J Design Organisation. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify requirements and develop solutions for active and upcoming projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Engineering Solutions
  • Develop engineering design solutions using CAD software.
  • Modify cabin layouts, install galley systems, and introduce new aircraft paint schemes.
  • Produce substantiation documents to demonstrate compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Compile engineering accomplishment documentation and instructions for continued airworthiness.
  • Attend meetings and represent the organisation on aircraft surveys and installation support.

Requirements:

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field.
  • Minimum 4 years of aircraft interiors mechanical/structural design engineering experience.
  • Current or recent employment within the aerospace industry specifically working with an EASA Part 21J Design Organisation (or equivalent).
  • CATIA V5 and/or AutoCAD industrial experience.
