Deep Sea Operations Specialist

Seeking a skilled trenching pilot/technician to operate and maintain complex equipment onboard our vessels.
Required Skills and Qualifications- At least 5 years of experience in electronics, hydraulics, or mechanical systems is necessary.
- Proven expertise with jetting systems or mechanical trenching operations is essential.
- Ability to travel and work offshore globally on a rotational basis (several weeks on duty followed by time off) is required.
- Effective English communication skills are necessary for clear documentation and teamwork.
- Conduct maintenance and repair tasks on trenching equipment safely and efficiently.
- Manage the launch, recovery, and precise subsea operation of trenching vehicles.
- Operate and monitor tools such as mechanical trenchers, sonar, video systems, and navigation equipment.
- Assist in documentation including daily reports, technical procedures, risk assessments, and work permits.
- Execute planned maintenance safely and effectively, following internal safety and quality standards.
- Cooperate with the wider offshore team and maintain clear communication at all levels.
- Valid Medical Fitness Certificate (MLC compliant Medical Card, OGUK, or equivalent)
- Valid Maritime Safety Training Certificate (according to STCW or equivalent, GWO or BOSIET) – Sea survival (incl. boat transfer) is a requirement
