Key Financial Leadership Role

The role of a Finance Operations Manager is critical in driving financial performance, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and supporting long-term business growth. This involves managing the preparation of budgets, forecasts and KPIs, as well as providing strategic financial leadership across the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide financial analysis to support business development
  • Ensure Internal Controls are in place and functioning
  • Provide strategic financial leadership across the business, partnering with executive management to drive decision-making and performance
  • Support the finance team in financial planning, forecasting, budgeting and analysis to achieve short-term and long-term goals
  • Manage financial requirements in support of business plans and financial modeling
  • Oversee continuous improvement of Accounting & Financial processes with the goal to achieve best practices and optimal output
  • Continued improvement of the Financial forecasting processes
  • Work closely with IT teams to support on-going enhancements
  • Drive cost savings and cost reduction initiatives
  • Maintain optimal Inventory levels through close collaboration with Operations and Planning
  • Nurture and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including Corporate partners and State agencies
  • Prepare KPIs as per calendar and drive statutory audit and liaison with audit teams
  • Perform month-end activities like book closing, accruals, sales accounting, inventory valuation and preparing monthly reports
  • Validate vendor/customer agreements and undertake specialist projects

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in finance operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Deep expertise in financial operations processes, systems and controls.
  • Proven track record of driving operational efficiency, automation and systems upgrades.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience in a high-growth, fast-paced environment preferred.
  • Exceptional leadership, project management and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; CPA, MBA or similar advanced credential
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, SAP and Hyperion tools required.
