Job Title: Financial Strategist

We are seeking a seasoned financial expert to join our organization in Cork. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth through strategic financial planning and analysis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled finance professional who can develop and implement financial strategies that support the organization's objectives.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing detailed financial forecasts by leveraging historical, trended, and real-time business insights.
  • Monitoring departmental and functional spending, identifying and analyzing material variances using system-generated reports.
  • Supporting month-end close by preparing journal entries to ensure accurate accounting at all levels.
  • Preparing and distributing comprehensive financial reports, interpreting current business performance data.
  • Conducting in-depth financial analyses (e.g., EVA, NPV), presenting actionable recommendations to management.
  • Evaluating new business opportunities, including acquisitions, product launches, and strategic initiatives through scenario modeling.
  • Performing sensitivity analyses to assess the financial impact of key variable changes on revenue, expenses, and profitability.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5+ years PQE (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent) with significant experience in people management and operating as a strategic finance business partner.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial systems planning, forecasting, and analysis.
  • Proven application of Lean tools and methodologies.
  • Strong leadership, influencing, and decision-making skills.
  • Project management and SAP implementation experience is a distinct advantage.
