Health, Safety, and Environmental Manager

This role is responsible for implementing health, safety, and environmental management programs to protect employees and communities. The position requires a strategic thinker who can develop and implement effective HSE strategies and action plans.
Responsibilities:- Develop comprehensive HSE strategies and procedures that meet regulatory requirements.
- Conduct thorough incident investigations, risk assessments, and compliance audits to identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Oversee internal and external audits in the HSE area of responsibility.
- Analyze data to propose new measures and procedures to mitigate risks.
- Investigate accidents/incidents and identify root causes to prevent reoccurrence.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
- Professional Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental Legislation (desired).
- 8 years of relevant experience in the HSE area of expertise in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry (desired).
- Proven leadership and time management skills.
- Detailed knowledge of HSE principles and practices.
- Advanced knowledge of compliance needs in HSE and GMP.
- Strong awareness of HSE regulatory environment.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
