Your Responsibilities
  • You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the hotel at night, delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Guest relations are a key aspect of this role, including handling any issues or complaints that may arise.
  • Health and safety is also a critical aspect of this position, encompassing fire walks, security checks, and first aid.
  • Front Office duties include running the night audit report and check-in/check-out guests.
  • You will manage a team of Night Porters and oversee their nightly tasks.
  • Food and Beverage service at night falls under your purview.
Requirements
  • Two to three years of experience in a similar night or reception role is essential.
  • A deep understanding of the hotel industry is required.
  • Prior hospitality experience is mandatory.
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of Opera are necessary.
  • Familiarity with electronic front office systems such as Brilliant is also essential.
  • Excellent leadership and development skills are crucial.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to delegate tasks effectively are vital.
  • A warm, friendly, and approachable demeanor when interacting with colleagues and guests is essential.
