Electrical Design Engineer

The role of Electrical Design Engineer is a critical one within our organisation. We are seeking an experienced professional with the ability to design, develop and optimise electrical systems for use in minimally invasive therapeutic procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to developing innovative products that meet the business needs of the company by applying technical knowledge and expertise to product development projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the safety and efficacy of medical devices through rigorous testing and evaluation.
  • Develop and implement novel product design and development engineering solutions that drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Degree level 8 in Engineering or related discipline with 5 years+ relevant experience – additional relevant qualifications may be advantageous.
  • Extensive experience in electrical medical device product development with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Ideal candidate will have experience designing RF systems, including PCB design and RF simulation tools (COMSOL).

Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work on multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment, and excellent collaboration and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
