Strategic Risk Advisory Professional

We are seeking a strategic risk advisor to join our team. This role will involve partnering with cross-functional teams to design and execute strategies that improve risk controls and user experience.
Main Responsibilities
- Drive risk strategy for initiatives focused on EMEA and APAC, collaborating with Product, Legal, Operations, Sales, and Partnerships teams to solve risk problems and ensure a positive experience for users
- Conduct research and analysis to assess current risk performance and develop long-term strategic plans for future growth
- Challenge the status quo and provide multiple alternative solutions and key execution criteria
Key Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in Financial Services, Payments, or fintech industries
- Experience in a related role (risk, compliance, legal, consulting)
- Experience developing risk strategies and solutions and working with technical and operations teams to implement them
Skillset
- Strong analytical skills and operating rigor
- Ability to distill complex risk and policy problems into clear, concise guidance
- Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to influence product/engineering, sales, data science, and operations teams
- Demonstrated track record of deriving insights from complex problem spaces and evangelizing actionable recommendations
- Entrepreneurial and curious mindset, strong communication and interpersonal skills
