Lead Mechanical Engineer Position

Candidates will be responsible for managing mechanical installations on large scale projects across Ireland, working in the healthcare, educational and commercial office sectors.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Building Services Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, with at least 5 years of experience in a design consultancy.

A Chartership status is highly desirable, as well as experience in problem solving and coordination. A full driving licence and own transport are also essential requirements.

Job Description:

Location: Cork

Employment Type: Permanent

Pay: €60k - €70k

Experience: 6+ years

Visa: EU passport or Stamp 4 visa required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage mechanical installations on large scale projects
  • Work in the healthcare, educational and commercial office sectors
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations

Requirements:

  • Third level qualification in Building Services Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
  • At least 5 years experience in a design consultancy
  • Chartership status (desired)
  • Strong technical background in mechanical engineering
  • Proven problem solving and coordination skills
  • Full driving licence and own transport
