Job Title:

A Financial Data Analyst Role

The role of a Financial Data Analyst is crucial in delivering financial insights and decision-making support to senior leadership.

  • Develop and improve analytical frameworks for informed decision-making.
  • Support the wider team in London and New York, providing financial reporting assistance as needed.

As a key member of the FP&A team, you will contribute to the development of financial models and analyses supporting strategic initiatives.

  • Prepare monthly financial dashboards for senior management, reflecting actual results and comparisons to forecasts/budgets.
  • Analyze current and past trends in revenue, expenses, and other key performance indicators to improve financial forecast design and accuracy.
  • Participate in annual budget and forecasting processes, working with leadership to incorporate initiatives.
  • Develop value-added financial analysis to inform business decisions and assess performance.
Qualifications/Skills:

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
  • 2+ years' experience in FP&A, preferably in financial services.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills, including macros and VBA.
  • Advanced quantitative and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
