About the Opportunity
This exciting opportunity allows a highly skilled Part Qualified Accountant to join a reputable chartered accountancy firm and contribute to their continued success. As a key member of the accounting department, you will be responsible for preparing year-end financial statements, managing accounts, and assisting with Corporation Tax Returns. You will work closely with the management team to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. They will also be proficient in accounting software, including CCH Accounts Production and Xero.

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing year-end non-audit company accounts and working papers up to review stage. They will also reconcile balance sheet items, including VAT, payroll, leases, hire purchases, and fixed assets. A solid understanding of accounting principles and familiarity with posting journals onto accounting software are essential. Additionally, the candidate will assist with the preparation of management accounts, statutory financial statements, and year-end close-out and journals. They will also prepare Corporation Tax Returns and liaise with clients through phone and written correspondence.
