Job Title: Front Office Receptionist

This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, providing exceptional guest service and maintaining the overall efficiency of our front office operations.

  • To greet guests in a warm and welcoming manner;
  • To have complete knowledge of hotel services & facilities and communicate these to guests as required;
  • To ensure accurate posting of charges to guest bills;
  • To action guest enquiries by phone or in person in a professional and friendly manner;
  • To meet guests' needs and requirements;
  • To set up accounts for functions or syndicates;
  • To liaise with housekeeping regarding room allocation;
  • To maintain appropriate float levels;

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of one year's experience in a similar role;
  • A positive attitude and a friendly demeanor;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Availability to work variable shifts including midweek, evening and weekend hours;
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills;
  • Familiarity with Hotsoft would be an advantage.
