Job Title: Assistant Front Office Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Front Office Professional to join our team as an Assistant Front Office Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, delivering exceptional guest service and supporting the smooth running of our front office department.

Job Description:

  • Assist in the day-to-day management of the Front Office team, stepping in for the Front Office Manager when needed.

  • Support the implementation and training of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and front office standards.

  • Ensure seamless arrival and departure procedures to maximise guest satisfaction.

  • Handle reservation enquiries with efficiency and a high level of guest care.

  • Liaise with Accommodation to coordinate room allocations and availability.

  • Attend department meetings and contribute to operational decisions.

  • Promote our hotel's facilities, food and beverage offerings, and local attractions to guests.

  • Maintain accurate filing and departmental administration.

  • Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new front office staff.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as an Assistant Front Office Manager in a similar hotel setting is essential.

  • Strong knowledge of front office systems – ideally Opera PMS.

  • Fluent spoken and written English.

  • Excellent interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills.

  • A hands-on approach and the ability to lead a dynamic team under pressure.
