Job Description

The Security Architecture Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our information systems. As a key member of our Information Security team, this individual will be responsible for developing and integrating security engineering requirements into our systems and networks.

This technical leadership position involves hands-on engineering responsibilities for secure architecture design and deployment of our technology. The ideal candidate should have experience assessing, designing, and documenting architectural patterns for secure implementations of systems, as well as leading teams of security engineers to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of a mixed cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and integrate security engineering requirements for systems and networks by partnering with Technology teams.
  • Ensure that acquired or developed system(s) and architecture(s) are consistent with our secure architecture guidelines.
  • Manage the Security Architecture function, including a team of engineers responsible for maintaining/ensuring cloud platform security posture.
  • Integrate security requirements into company DevOps and GitOps operational frameworks.
  • Develop, recommend, and enhance information risk management policies and standards.
  • Act as a source of direction, training, and guidance for less experienced staff.
Required Skills and Qualifications

We seek an individual with 7+ years of experience in information security, network architecture, or similar roles. Relevant certifications include CISSP, OSCP, OSCE, GIAC, AWS Solutions Architect, GCP Professional Cloud Architect/Engineer, or other industry-recognized credentials.

Candidates should possess an in-depth understanding of different network architectures, enterprise routing, network services, system types, network devices, development platforms/software suites, database products, and operating systems (e.g., Linux, Windows, Cisco, Juniper, Oracle, SQL Server, Active Directory, LDAP, Java, .NET).

They should also have expertise in cloud-based technologies and automation tooling, including experience integrating these technologies in holistic business solutions/CI/CD pipelines.
