Job Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced staff nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our residential setting. As a motivated and caring individual, you will be passionate about delivering exceptional care that exceeds resident expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver the highest standard of care to residents, adhering to HIQA standards and Health Act 2007 regulations.
  • Assist in the day-to-day management and operations of the nursing home, collaborating with the management team to achieve excellent patient outcomes.
  • Represent the nursing home and act in the best interest of the nursing home and its residents, promoting a culture of compassion and respect.
  • Be self-motivated with a desire to work as part of a team focused on developing improved models of care within the Home.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience as a registered nurse.
  • Post registration management qualification in health or a related field, such as QQI Level 6 Management.
  • Excellent knowledge of HIQA standards and Health Act 2007 regulations.
  • Registration with NMBI or entitlement to be registered.
  • Evidence of continuous professional development, including management courses and training programs.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and proven written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Possesses the clinical, administrative and leadership capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role.
