Job Title: Healthcare Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated individual to provide holistic care to our residents at Ireland's leading nursing home in Dublin.

About the Role:

As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents. Your responsibilities will include supporting the nursing staff, maintaining residents' hygiene and personal care needs, and assisting with daily tasks as directed by the nursing team.

Responsibilities:
  • Support nursing staff in delivering resident care
  • Maintain residents' cleanliness and personal care requirements
  • Assist residents with daily activities such as eating, drinking, mobilizing, and transferring
  • Participate in activities with residents and provide end-of-life care
  • Perform any other duties deemed necessary by the nurse and management
Requirements:
  • 6 months of experience in healthcare or a similar environment desired
  • Practical experience in caring for others preferred
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Professional, caring, and empathetic nature
  • Comfortable working in a sometimes challenging environment
  • Good level of English language skills
  • Availability to work varied shift patterns, days, nights, and weekends
