We are seeking an experienced Planning and Environmental Lawyer to join our growing team in Dublin. This is an exciting opportunity for a lawyer with 5-7 years of post-qualification experience in planning and infrastructure consenting law.

In this role, you'll have the chance to take a leading part in shaping the direction of our practice. You will be involved in significant client-facing work from the outset and have the opportunity to collaborate with a highly skilled team across various jurisdictions.

The Role:

  • You will advise clients on regulatory consents for infrastructure projects, including environmental impact assessments and planning permissions.

  • You will provide advice on judicial review processes and defence of planning and environmental prosecutions.

  • You will collaborate with real estate teams on planning due diligence for M&A projects.

  • You will manage complex matters independently while supporting junior team members.

  • You will stay ahead of evolving market demands and develop expertise in emerging sectors like green energy and infrastructure development.

The Person:

  • You should have 5-7 years PQE in planning and environmental law, ideally with infrastructure consenting experience.

  • You should have experience in advising on environmental impact assessments and other relevant regulatory matters.

  • You should have strong ability to build client relationships and work independently as well as part of a team.

  • You should have excellent communication, drafting, and negotiation skills.

  • You should be enthusiastic and proactive in expanding your knowledge base and staying at the forefront of industry trends.
