Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team. As an Expert in building and operating scalable services, you will play a critical role in enabling crucial player-to-player interactions for millions of users.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have 12+ years of software engineering experience, with a strong background in developing highly scalable online services. You should be proficient in programming languages such as Python, C++, or similar, and have prior experience working on services related to accounts, authentication, and/or identity management.

Main Responsibilities

  • Design and build high-performance services using open source technologies.
  • Improve and extend existing services for Accounts, Identity Management, and Privacy tooling.
  • Guide technical direction and standards with engineers across the organization; collaborate with project managers to map and deliver objectives based on company goals and product roadmap.
  • Contribute to R&D efforts and technical decision making around online services and tech stack.
  • Own, operate, and support live services that you develop.
  • Provide technical mentorship to more junior team members.

Key Requirements

  • Strong understanding of authentication and authorization protocols, as well as identity management systems.
  • Experience defining and delivering technical solutions to technical users.
  • Experience working with Linux/Unix.

  • Experience with continuous integration and agile methodologies.
