Electrical Supervisor Role Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Supervisor to lead site activities, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and oversee the commissioning of electrical and instrumentation systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading site activities to ensure adherence to safety and quality protocols
  • Commissioning of electrical and instrumentation systems
  • Collaboration with motor control systems, MCCs, and instrumentation commissioning experts
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical control drawings essential
  • Support for ATEX design and installation; experience beneficial but not required
  • Collaboration with third parties, contractors, and end-users for seamless project execution
  • Management of schedules and deliverables to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Assistance in the development of electrical designs adhering to regulations, standards, and specifications
  • Planning, designing, budgeting, purchasing, installing, and commissioning electrical systems and components for projects

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Electrical Craft or Instrument technician qualification or other relevant technical certifications
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a qualified Electrician/Instrument Technician in a supervisory role, preferably in processing/food and beverage or related industries
  • Knowledge of Irish/UK electrical regulations and standards
  • Proven experience with motor control, MCCs, and instrumentation commissioning
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in written and spoken English
  • Strong site supervision and project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and execution
  • Willingness to upskill and get involved in electrical design and estimating of various projects
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Full driving license valid in Ireland, EU, or UK
