Job Opportunity: Electrical Supervisor

The successful candidate will oversee site activities, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. This role involves the management of commissioning electrical and instrumentation systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage site activities to guarantee compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Oversee the commissioning of electrical and instrumentation systems.
  • Collaborate with motor control systems, MCCs, and instrumentation commissioning teams.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of electrical control drawings essential for success in this role.
  • Support ATEX design and installation; experience in this area is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Work effectively with third-party vendors, contractors, and end users to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Plan and manage schedules, delivering projects on time.
  • Develop electrical designs aligned with regulations, standards, and specifications.

Requirements

  • Relevant craft or technical qualification level.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a qualified Electrician / Instrument Technician preferably in processing, food, and beverage industries in supervisory roles.
  • Knowledge of Irish/UK electrical regulations and standards.
  • Proven experience with motor control, MCCs, and instrumentation commissioning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Strong site supervision/project management skills including planning, budgeting, and execution.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently manage multiple tasks.
  • Full driving license (valid in Ireland, EU, or UK).
