We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for managing the accounting ledgers for a portfolio of clients, ensuring accurate and timely financial reports, and providing exceptional customer service.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and organized individual who is passionate about finance and looking to take their career to the next level. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auditing, consolidation, and financial reporting, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Main Responsibilities:
* Manage the accounting ledgers for a portfolio of clients
* Prepare and review financial reports, including monthly and quarterly accounts, and annual budgeting process
* Ensure accurate and timely VAT and RCT returns
* Oversee the annual audit process, working closely with the Director of Financial Services to implement new processes and procedures to drive efficiencies
* Liaise with clients to ensure their queries are answered promptly and efficiently
* Work with the CFO to develop proprietary Financial Asset Management software, OneView
Requirements:
* 2 years PQE (Part Qualified Experience)
* Strong audit background and experience of consolidation
* Knowledge of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards)
* Passionate about finance innovation and the future of finance
* Proficient in common Excel formulas (Index/Match, Choose, Sumif etc.)
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
* Qualified ACA/CFA/ACCA/CIMA
