Key Services
  • Companionship: providing emotional support, conversation, assistance with daily tasks, and medication reminders.
  • Home Support: light housekeeping, errands, incidental transportation, laundry services, and accompanying clients to appointments.
  • Personal Care: assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, personal hygiene, toileting, and incontinence care.
Responsibilities
  • Act as a valued member of our clients' support network.
  • Document daily activities and report any significant changes or concerns in a client's needs, living conditions, mental, physical, or emotional well-being.
  • Contribute to a positive living environment that enhances a client's quality of life.
  • Regularly communicate with your supervisor and colleagues.
  • Use equipment and supplies safely and properly, following established policies and procedures.
  • Report hours worked according to office guidelines.
  • Perform other reasonable duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Treat clients and their property with dignity and respect.
  • Be adaptable in various living environments and locations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and family members in a friendly and approachable manner.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding client information.
  • Run errands and provide incidental transportation for clients.
  • Remain highly motivated and enthusiastic throughout the role.
  • Meet the physical demands of the position, including manual tasks.
  • Work varied care visit times, including overnight shifts.
  • Excel in time-keeping and attendance.
