Workday Integration Specialist

This role involves working with our People Solutions team to design, build, test, deploy and maintain integrations across multiple functional areas.

  • Design, build, test, deploy and maintain integrations across multiple functional areas (e.g. HCM, Payroll, Absence, Recruiting, Compensation).
  • Develop and support a variety of integration types including EIBs, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, REST/SOAP APIs and custom reports.
  • Lead the delivery and maintenance of integrations with external providers and third-party vendors.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve integration failures and incidents ensuring system stability and timely issue resolution.
  • Serve as the primary technical escalation point for complex integration issues.
  • Coordinate activities related to integrations in partnership with HR Operations, Payroll and IT.
  • Work closely with HR, Payroll and IT to ensure integrations support accurate data flows and compliance with security and privacy standards.
  • Evaluate Workday releases for integration impacts and lead related change management, testing and deployments.
  • Maintain detailed integration documentation, data mappings and technical support materials.
Key Skills
  • Significant experience with Workday integrations including design, build, deployment and troubleshooting.
  • Strong expertise in Workday Studio, Core Connectors, EIBs, APIs and Web Services.
  • Understanding of Workday data model, security framework and business processes.
  • Experience developing advanced Workday dashboards, matrix and composite reports and analytics.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Collaborative approach to working with HR, IT and external vendors.
